This is a self-initiated project. I want to
capture the state between dreams and
reality in a printed publication.
SPAGHETTI & NUDLER is printed on newspaper paper on a regular Xerox printer. I chose the very thin paper to symbolize the fragile state of dreaming – the possibility of waking up is a constant and you never know when it ends and only a few people
know how to control this subconscious universe. Doing the printing I manually stopped the process of the printer while heating the toner powder. This means that the powder isn’t mounted properly on the paper and easily will smush when you turn the pages of the zine.
The zine is thereby in a constant change
and if you grab it to hard it will break or
disappear – just like a dream.
